Kindred Realms aims to be a multiplayer light survival, medieval life simulator, rpg.
Interact with the environment and enemies alone or with friends, build up your house and town, craft thousands of items, experience dynamic weather, realtime lighting, wind, own land, master your profession, grow crops, go on quests, and many more activities!
To play "single player" just make a private multiplayer game with a password for now.

Be a part of the world, not the focus, with characters that have their own lives and skills: fighting, marketing, cultivating, foraging, smithing, etc...
Right now there are Wanderers that gather resources and you can trade with, deer, foxes, and wolves. All current recipes are unlocked for testing.
The best part is the building system! Make sure to craft a Carpenter's Table to get started.
Current State Of Development:
Dev Alpha v 0.0.9.2
Tested with Windows 10, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, GeForce 1660ti GPU, 16GB RAM, and NVMe SSD. Getting about 80+ fps on High Settings. Totally playable at 30 fps also.

left shift - run
e - interact
q - crafting
j - journal
k - professions
i - inventory
tab - radial menu
mouse wheel - cycle hotbar
alt+mousewheel - zoom in/out
esc - close menus / cancel / open main menu
Placing Item:
mouse wheel - rotate
r - adjust height (if applicable)

this is the best 3D survival game I've ever played. I like it a lot more than 7 Days to Die, I'm not even kidding

I think, probably the best thing you can do for new players at the moment is make the intro quests more descriptive. For example "Get 5 Plant Fiber (Check Bushes)" I personally had a hard time figuring out where to find it, and spent much too long whacking grass looking for it.
Agreed! I need to work on the tutorial quests more even if they are just placeholders. Also, your supposed to be able to pickup plant fiber from grass but I removed it temporarily due to performance issues. Other plants give plant fiber also! They are higher up in altitude in the forest regions, but that's not so great since the spawn point is lower. I appreciate the input! I'll do some adjustments for next update.
